Today, these historic daffodils are still prolifically flowering and have rightfully become the centrepiece of Daffodil Dayze, a magnificent daffodil display over the three months of spring, culminating in Carnivale Dayze, a day of celebrating the region's history and culture.

Showcasing Otago’s history and culture with Daffodil Dayze – We invite you and your families to Hart’s Back Horse Brewery while once again it is resplendent with colour.

We invite you and your families to Hart’s Back Horse Brewery while once again it is resplendent with colour.

All the crew dress in period costume creating an atmosphere of olde worlde charm that will leave an unforgettable impression on all who visit.

Offering assorted activities and entertainment to satisfy a diverse range of interests. Beer Tasting, Girdle Scones, Hot Potatoes, Souveniers, Historic Displays, Local Art & Photography, Music, Stalls, Magician, Belly Dancers, Bagpipes & Banjo,Tailed Poi Dance, Real Leaves Dipped In Gold, Showgirls and much more.

BUS FROM DUNEDIN - depart 10am leaving Lawrence at 2pm or depart 11am leaving Lawrence at 3pm. The return trip is over the hill from Waihola to see the lovely roadside daffodils coming back along the coast. The cost is $10 return. Phone Dusty on 03 485 9968 to book.
