Canterbury Caper - Vintage Car Club Our touring Vintage Car Club group who recently came your way wish to express their pleasure at your very delightful presentations at Weatherstons and Lawrence.This certainly was an unexpected highlight of our 10-day tour of Central Otago’s Goldfields. The event has been reported to our national magazine, Beaded Wheels and will be published in due course, complete with action photos of you and your banjo-man! The atmosphere you recreated put us right back in the past so that we could almost see the hard men with their women returned to party at the old Brewery! This ‘secret’ place deserves the preservation and exposure you are giving it, as an untouched goldfields rediscovery. New Zealanders as well as visitors will come to learn and understand that the heritage is Lawrence, Gabriel’s Gully and Weatherstons through your professional and warmly entertaining presentations.
